Grant Information

CORE provides support to children and families of food and beverage employees navigating a life-altering circumstance or condition who are currently employed (or were at the time of circum- stance) by a food or beverage operator. Following an application process and a review by the members of the Executive Board of CORE, grant funds will be distributed to the most pressing areas of need determined by the family and CORE’s Executive Director. CORE provides grants of support in amounts up to but not in excess of $10,000. CORE reserves the right to: determine which circumstances and conditions qualify as life-altering; grant support in amounts less than $10,000; grant support in excess of $10,000 in situations of extreme need or circumstance as ap- proved by the Executive Board; determine how CORE grant funds are distributed and expended in fulfillment of each grant. CORE families may reapply for support after a period of at least three (3) years has transpired since the date of grant distribution.
